The Wisdom of Beautiful Whiskers

1. Pay attention to minute details. Those minute details are very important and are exactly the spots where you need to relax the most. If you are a little off, you will never be able to relax. You must be precisely correct so every part of the body can move smoothly and freely.

2. Get the outside (external form) to look right and the inside will fill up with ch'i  (the internal form).

3. Gradually feel your roots screwed to the floor.

4. Form: Turning waist into the front root puts more into the front root and makes the back foot very light. The empty hip may be lowered as the waist turns into the front foot. As your discipline (kung fu) grows, this will become easier. The back foot will become lighter  and lighter.
